Hi, I am Akshat Bansal.
I define myself as a mosaic of experiences—a painter, doodle artist, deep thinker, entrepreneur, father, husband, son, friend, and a soul continuously exploring the landscapes of self-expression.
My art is more than lines and colors. It’s a profound journey of self-discovery, each brushstroke a doorway to understanding the deepest layers of my being. As I often say:
Imagination, faith, curiosity and love of unknown are the secrets of creation.
My art is a reflection of my travels, my experience & interactions with the locals, and above all my inner reflection about life and deep meditations.
My Creative Philosophy
In the stillness of a blank canvas, there is potential. Potential to create, to dream, to bring forth something extraordinary out of nothing. Each stroke, every detail, emerges not from what already exists, but from the boundless depths of imagination.
Art has not only helped me relax and meditate, but the entire process of creation feels almost magical. It takes my mind to a different state—one where Akshat doesn’t exist. Half the time, things just happen unconsciously, as if I’m in a deep sleep. And when I “wake up,” the art is there, complete. I look at it and think—wait, did I really make this? Hahaha…

Finding My Way Back to Art 🌌
As a kid, I was mesmerized by colors and drawing. I’d sit on the floor, completely lost in my sketches, and time just disappeared. It felt like I was in a place where clocks didn’t matter. Art was my world, a way to express things I couldn’t say out loud.
But then, life took over. I got pulled into the fast pace of business, society’s constant reminders of what “success” should look like, and the need to just keep moving forward. I kept telling myself I’d get back to painting someday, but somehow, each year just took me further from that feeling I used to have.
Then COVID hit, and suddenly, there was this quiet. I had time again, real time. I picked up a paintbrush, and the moment I made that first stroke, something shifted inside me. It was like I’d rediscovered an old friend. Every brushstroke felt like it was breathing life back into me, connecting me to a part of myself I’d nearly forgotten.
In August, I visited the Krishnamurti Center in Brockwood to look deeper within. It became clear that art isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s who I am. Don’t get me wrong; I love selling handles and running my business. But art? Art is where I feel most alive, where I feel true freedom. I know only another artist can truly get that.
So, I began painting again and started gifting these pieces of my heart to very close friends. And recently, I even displayed some of my work in my showroom. Standing there, seeing my paintings next to all the handles, I felt this rush of emotion. I wondered, “Is this a handles showroom or a art gallery?” In that moment, I was so grateful to the universe for bringing me back to what I love.
To anyone reading this, here’s what I’ve learned: life is too short to ignore what you love. Don’t let society’s expectations hold you back. Be free, follow your passion, and let yourself do what makes you feel most alive. 🕊️
With all my heart, thank you for reading. 💫

The Other Side Of Akshat Bansal
As the leader of India’s #1 Luxury Hardware brand, Benzoville, I bring the same creativity and passion that defines my art into the world of business. Each venture is another canvas, another opportunity to create and innovate.
“I feel the secret of Benzoville having so many international brands lies at the core of my unconscious love for travel.”
My business travels are never just boring travels – all my business partners and suppliers are my friends, and I love meeting them and going out with them for lunches or dinners. We cherish a great bond, and that’s what I feel life is about. Life doesn’t have to be just transactional; it is beyond that.
Wandering Through the World, Finding My True Self
Travel for many people is just about visiting touristic places, but for me, it’s about smelling and feeling the place. I still recall my trip to Mount Fuji near Tokyo, and I can’t explain what energy I felt when I went there. It was as if cherry blossom trees were talking to me, and Mount Fuji and the village near it, Oshino Hakkai, were teaching me profound lessons about kaizen, deep gratitude, ikigai, the beauty of slowing down in life, and so much more that I can’t describe in words.
I am happy to show you more!
